Photo culling on iPhone, without a laptop

Culling means choosing the keepers from a large shoot. On a desktop you'd use Lightroom or Photo Mechanic. On an iPhone, Keepframe groups similar frames, recommends one per series with visible reasons, and builds your Selects album — in about a minute.

Step by step

  1. Shoot as you normally do. Keepframe groups shots taken seconds apart of the same subject into series.
  2. Set how many to keep per series: best only, top two, or all strong frames.
  3. Compare two near-identical frames side by side with synced zoom, or ask the optional AI pick for a second opinion.
  4. Tell Keepframe what matters to you in your own words — sharpness, faces, colour — and the picks follow.
  5. Create the Selects album. Outtakes stay in your library unless you choose to clear them.
